Ban on Tobacco Advertising

organized a National consultation for Model law on Comprehensive ban on
Tobacco Advertising, Promotion and Sponsorship today, 3rd June 2014.The
draft law aims to bring present regulation of tobacco control in
harmony with the World Health Organization (WHO)&rsquo;s Framework Convention
for Tobacco Control (FCTC)&rsquo;s Article 13.</span><br style="color: #333333; font-family: helvetica,arial,'lucida grande',tahoma,verdana,arial,sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 20px;" />

discourse was participated by health professionals, legal experts and
representatives from the federal and provisional governments.The
participants of the consultation discussed in detail the model law for

expressed dissatisfaction over the official measures aimed to curb
tobacco advertisement, promotion and sponsorship and suggested
result-oriented legal strategy to counter the tactics of the tobacco
