<p>As Consumers, the teachers of Islamabad Model School for Girls, a local school in Islamabad, were sensitized on Organic Food: Safe and sustainable for all and the problems of agro chemicals heavily used in current farming. The participants were advocated to practice kitchen gardening as well as start demanding organic foods in the market.<br />
Realizing the importance of organic food, the teachers showed keen interest in starting a small organic garden in the school. According to Mrs Sughra Jaffery the principal, this will help inculcating this idea in the students and teach science lessons with practical involvement of students. Further the teachers appreciated TheNetwork‘s campaign and drawing their attention towards this healthful initiative and motivating to practice kitchen gardening.</p>
