TheNetwork conducted a sensitization session on safe and healthy food with mothers of Farash town, a model village of Islamabad, set up by the Capital Development Authority. 23 women of the area gathered to listen to the advantages of organically grown food, hazardous health impacts of chemical pesticides and the role of mother in providing healthy food to their families. Realizing the magnitude of the health problems caused by use of <span style="font-size: small; line-height: 16px; background-color: #ffffff; color: #444444;">chemicals </span><span style="font-size: small; line-height: 16px; background-color: #ffffff; color: #444444;">pesticides, the participants ensured to practice kitchen gardening and produce their own vegetables for the family.</span>
