<p style="text-align: justify;">Jhelum District May 22, 2013 - is a city where around twenty two thousand National Tax Number (NTN) holders and income tax return fillers are only few in hundreds. there is strong need to mentoring of targeted stakeholders to pay their due share of direct taxes and talk about its benefits among peers to change the paradigm of indirect taxation in the state.

Therefore TheNetwork made intervention with an aim to raise awareness among lawyers, woman university faculty, doctors, nurses, print and radio media, social activist and human rights activist through advocacy seminar 'pay income tax' and in broader spectrum taxation for development.

</br></span><span style="font-family: times new roman,serif; font-size: 12pt;">Furthermore, this advocacy seminar was chaired by the political Elite, elected candidate of Jhelum Member Provincial Assembly Ch. Lal Hussian and Member National Assembly Ch. Khadam Hussian and TheNetwork asked for public commitment to raise awareness about direct taxation in the district and talked on it in the assemblies for better legislation on it.</span></p>
