The event was addressed by a renowned tax expert Dr lkramul Haq sharing a study on “Abolishing pro-rich tax regime for ensuring people’s right to life”. The main crux of the study was to highlight the regressive tax system which has been unfair to the poor. The guest speaker made a number of recommendations on this occasion and suggested ways and means to rectify this. The Policy Dialogue was organized by TheNetwork with the generous support of Oxfam Novib.
