Iodine Deficiency Disorders (IDDs) Control has urged the government to
initiate the legislative process on passage of the Iodine Deficiency Control Bill in the Parliament and to institute
necessary actions for enforcement of the Protection of Breastfeeding
Law in its true spirit. In a recent meeting held at its secretariat
TheNetwork office, the alliance strategised a campaign for enforcement
of the Protection of Breastfeeding Law 2009 and urged the government to
table the IDD Control Bill before the Parliament without further loss of
time.</div>
